Where the Giants Roam
Tarangire is the hidden gem of Tanzania's northern circuit. Defined by its iconic Baobab trees—some over a thousand years old—and the massive elephant herds that traverse its golden savannahs, this 4-day expedition offers an intimate look at the wild. Experience the dramatic river crossings during the dry season and the lush, bird-rich wetlands during the green season.

The Tarangire Trail
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire
First Glimpse of the Giants
Depart Arusha for a scenic 2-hour drive into the heart of Tarangire. Your first game drive begins at the park gate, leading you through valleys of giant Baobabs toward the river. Afternoon check-in at a luxury lodge nestled among the trees, followed by a sunset drink overlooking the plains.
Days 2-3: The River & Silale Swamp
Deep Savannah Exploration
Spend two full days exploring the park's diverse ecosystems. We focus on the Tarangire River, the only permanent water source for miles, where herds of up to 300 elephants gather. Venture south to the Silale Swamp, a haven for lions, leopards, and over 550 species of birds.
Day 4: Morning Walk & Return
The Bush on Foot
Experience the bush from a different perspective with a guided walking safari at dawn. Learn about animal tracking, insects, and the medicinal uses of local plants. After a final brunch, we begin our journey back to Arusha for your evening flight.
